Men's & Wives Care Assistant

What do you do at Be Broken? The goal for my job is to take anything administratively off of Gigi's (Wives Care Director) and Dan's (Men's Ministry Director/husband) plates so they can focus more personally on the hurting and healing men and women of our ministry, and not worry about administrative details.

What brought you to Be Broken? God's timing in my life. The Men's Ministry needed an administrative assistant, and my previous full-time job in HR had ended.

Favorite passage of Scripture? "The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great if His faithfulness. His mercies are new every morning. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul" (Lamentations 3:22-24).

What do you do in your time off? I enjoy quiet evenings with my husband of 40 years, Energetic days with my daughter and grandkids, and traveling to see family in Texas, Florida, and Minnesota. I also serve in our local church. My hobbies are hiking, enjoying anything in nature (animals, flowers, state and national parks), and reading.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be, and why? Teleportation. What a dream it would be if Dan and I could have a quiet evening under the stars on a warm beach anytime we wanted, if I could eat lunch with my daughter in Florida and my other daughter in Texas on a whim, or be at the doctors with my sister in Minnesota or when any other family member needs me, or I them.

Favorite food/drink? I love anything with dessert at the end, and coffee.
